A1 dual carriageway merge and exit
Several routes join and leave the A1 dual carriageway via slip roads. You'll need to match your speed to the traffic already on the dual carriageway — don't slow down on the slip road. Mirror-signal-manoeuvre needs to be crisp here as the traffic moves fast.

Monktonhall Terrace mini roundabout
The mini roundabout at Monktonhall Terrace comes up on eight routes and is a compact junction where priority is easy to miss. Several routes then carry on to the Old Craighall Road roundabout straight after, so be ready to make two junction decisions in quick succession.
