A82 / Belford Road roundabout (town bypass)
The A82 roundabout at Belford Road comes up on five of six routes, either on the way out or the way back. It's a larger, trunk-road roundabout with faster-moving traffic — approach with confidence, get into the right lane early, and commit to your exit decisively.

An Aird / Relief Road roundabout sequence
On routes 3 and 5 you'll go through two or three roundabouts at An Aird and the Relief Road before reaching the A82 bypass. They come in quick succession so make sure you're checking the signs at each one rather than assuming the same exit applies throughout.

A830 Mallaig Road / Lochyside junction
Several routes use the A830 Mallaig Road and turn into the Lochyside area. The right turn off the A830 is onto a main road with faster traffic — make sure you've got a clear gap before you pull out and don't rush the observation.

Montrose Avenue / A82 residential loop
Montrose Avenue comes up on five routes as a loop through the residential area off the A82. The turns back onto the A82 require a careful priority assessment — it's a busy trunk road and you'll need a clear gap. The narrow residential streets here have limited passing places, so watch your road positioning.

High Street / A82 seafront roundabout
Routes 2 and 3 take you through the High Street and the A82 seafront roundabout. This is a busy tourist area with pedestrian crossings and a roundabout that can get congested. Stay patient, keep your observations wide and don't rush the junction just because there's traffic behind you.
